Bala Vihar Library
Chinmaya Mission New Orleans maintains a library for its students. The library contains a fascinating collection of books and Videos on religion, art and culture.
The objective of the library is to promote awareness of our rich heritage amongst our children and inspire them to become exemplary citizens. Especially dear to children's hearts are the "Amar Chitra Katha" publications, which are stories on Indian mythology and history in comic form.
The library books /videos can be borrowed on Sundays from 11:20 AM to 12:30 PM at SVVS temple Hall.
- Students of Bala Vihar can checkout as many books and videos as they want.
- Books/videos are issued for a week and needs to be renewed after first week.
- If failed to renew books/videos a nominal amount is accepted as donation.
- Please take good care of the books/videos as they are difficult to replace.
